I changed it Friday & use Puralator filters... Next change I may drop the pan & clean everything up & reinstall

Mine is only if it's cold :-( if I shut it down & stay it up again, it reads pressure. If I start it up after driving to the store, it reads pressure. It's just mornings or when I start it to come home from work

News is news, I like to know what I'm getting into even if it's not pretty :-\

Now that I have it paid off, it's time for glitches to come out. My oil pressure lately hasn't been reading at all when I first start it up. I shut it down & restart to get it to read properly. Is it a simple sending unit or is this a deeper problem?

My radiator was replaced in January when it exploded due to the crappy thermoplastic top, then my pump started leaking, now I noticed that my thermostat housing is leaking & my hoses are cracking & squishy when I squeeze them... I figured I may as well replace my whole cooling system because...

I figure if I do ANYTHING with the drivetrain it'll be to stroke the 4.0 (to 4.6 I believe. That's what Golem has). I'll keep you posted on the new thermostat & housing. Every time I think we're done with Ohio winter, it comes right back... It's supposed to be 50° today but a high in the teens...

I bought the teraflex shifter linkage. It should be here within a week... I always feel like a kid waiting for christmas when waiting for Jeep parts

& a 160° thermostat

I bought a Duralast pump with a lifetime guarantee & a high flow Hesco thermostat housing. Gonna install pump today & thermostat when it gets here :-D

Good looking out! Also I'm not positive I want to keep the 4.0 in the end so why upgrade what's worked this far. Stock pump is less than $60 too

It says "Works only with a 1" Body lift." :-(

Found a high flow pump from FlowKooler for $107... I might order that tomorrow. Just empty every pocket, right?

Any better than stock suggestions?

She just started leaking today... Should I buy a new gasket or replacement pump. It's got about 185K on it.

I made the last payment on my Wrangler today!!! Now it's time to swap the 14B/D60, 4 link the rear, long arm the front & cut the body :-D

As soon as tax money hits, I'm getting the Teraflex SS SYE so I'll have to look into the linkage kit as well! JPNinPA, looks like I'm missing 4-8 :-( I have the new case in already but no front shaft & no linkage anyway... Soon I'll be on the trails again

A while back my t-case took a poop because of the front drive shaft... new case didn't come with any linkage & mine was all mangled. Does anybody have a pic of the linkage? my Jeep is an '05 TJ X auto trans if that matters.
