I dont have a resistor due to me rebuilding my car, and im not sure what it looks like, some people i have heard it is a wire, from others i heard a part, not too sure were i can get one, i have a 81 cj7 I6 4.2

exactly what i did, but i fixed it now

you may need a new alternator, you could have had a bad one for a long time, its just finally giving way now, so its not pumping gas to well because the alternator cant produce current, and gas is possibly going down underneath and clogging/burning up.

maybe a bad alternator?? Possibly alternator, im not too sure?

I believe i found it, it was on my old harness. but im not sure were it will connect to. I think it was just hanging there not connected to anything. Does anyone know were to connect it to because it defiantly seems like it connects to something
