im acctuallly going ta do a spring over in the spring time and take out part of the lift i have now and see how that works out im hopeing for good results

i have a total of 7 inches of lift and still could really use about another 3

my set up has been working pretty good for me but i have heard mixed opions from other ppl allso but a built amc 20 is just as strong if not better then a d44 and i have read alot about this and i have been running this set up for 10 years so something has ta be working lol

when i did mine i pulled the tub and set it out side then i went to work on frame , suspension. motor , trans , transfer case and axles first then i worried about the tub and electrical system

u will be lacking power all the time and it will be harder on your motor trans and clutch and if u have a 5 speed u will be lucky if u can use 5th gear

the wide track amc is 3 inches wider same with the dana 30 wide track is 46 inchs from tie rod to tie rod where the narrow track is 43 if i remember correctly

i dont have a problem getting to the header bolts on my 383 stroker in the cj7 lots of room there

check on your rear axle one of the bolts should have a tag on it that will show your gear ratio

well he has been talking he wants ta put 37's on it eventually so the lower gears would be better cuz then when u go to the 37's u wont have ta regear again
