You can also pressure test the radiator to see if you have a bad gasket.. the tool to do that is not that expensive.. also if you do a compression test to each cylinder that would pin point if the head gasket is bad and where it is..so oil change $20 testers $50 each? motor $$$$.$$ if you ask...

I have a 1997 TJ and i thought the same thing... my dad has a 1994 YJ and we go out wheeling for a day I have to refill my tank and my dad has almost half a tank left come to find out his tank is bigger than mine but the fuel mileage is about the same SO how big is your tank? both have 2.5...

If you take the fan out and put a little oil in it that should stop the noise fans get dry from turning and the air oil should fix that... as for the fan not turning off it may be in the switch?

DON'T SOAK IT WITH OIL then try to weld it that makes a bad weld... weld first then soak it.... but if you weld it your heating the bolt so weld it get it HOT and get it out..

I got a 1988 chevy from a old man and he ran pennzoil when i rebuild it i had to take a pressure washer to it.. It took me 3 days to cleen the sluge off it. i herd some bad thing about pennzoil and had to cleen it.. I run rotila and Valvoline... and use lucas oil and gas treatment thay work...

Id look inside to see what is going on see what you need my diff broke 2 years ago $280 later fixed and was very easy just took my time.. but see what is wrong then call around for priceing see what is the best way to go for the repairs also repost on here for ideas.

You may have somthing broke or bent? id call and ask a body shop that can fix frames and just ask them thay may have a idea on what it could be? as for the check engine light that is a hard one...
