I feel like i have a 60hp engine but i have 4.0???? really need help!!!

From my understanding the headers on the 4.0's are prone to cracking. Maybe if water splashed up into your engine bay? If the exhaust gases aren't making it to the o2 sensor, whether from a crack or being loose, the engine will run horrible.

    Sye

If you can drive at highway speeds with no vibration you can pass on the SYE for now . Just check your u-joints regularly because the steep driveline angle can cause them to wear quicker. The SYE is the proper way to fix the driveline angle but I've driven around without one for 2 years now no...

    Strange fill plug

The fill plug uses a torx bit. Buy a set, you'll need them over and over again on your jeep. The drain plug is on the very bottom about 3/4 of the way down the transmission. Just a large bolt.

Water Apearing In passenger Side Floor?

To get to the tube for the vent, open the hood and look close to the firewall. Just a black rubber hose. I'll snap a picture of the cracked area for you once it stops raining here.

Water Apearing In passenger Side Floor?

One of a few possibilites. The drain hose in the vent in your hood has clogged(very common), the seal at the bottom of your windshield has started leaking(also common), or check the paint in the groove between the tub and the front end. Although I haven't heard of it happening to anybody else my...

    Newbie with a question.

Insurance companies are not out to be your friend, they're out to make money. 1,643 is a ridiculous price to pay to buy back a jeep you already own. I had to pay 1,200(twisted frame) because the woman told me they could easily get that price at an auction for it and they don't care who the...

    Newbie with a question.

I went through the same problem(although mine had slight frame damage). The woman at the local insurance office straight up told me they will always try to screw us on our jeep insurance because even torn up they can always sell them off. Anything short of a train/semi hitting them and all they...

    Tires?

How do the bighorns compare to the buckshots on and off the road? If I can ever get this set to wear out I'm thinking of stepping up to the Bighorns.

    Tires?

If it's the red jeep in your avatar, then a stock yj will fit 31's with some slight rubbing. Look for something with similar tread pattern to BFG M/T's for the mud. I have 33x12.50 Maxxis Buckshot with that same tread pattern style and they dig very well in the mud and have almost 15k miles on...

    turbo?

Regearing to 4.56 is probably your best bet to getting power back and probably increase your fuel mileage a little bit. Unless you're really good with turbo set-ups I wouldn't even think about going there. Not a very cheap alternative and will only hurt your gas mileage on top of forcing you to...

    93 AX-5 to a 95 or 96 AX-5 problem!

Yeah it was a straightforward swap. You need to pull it back apart to find out the source of that noise because noises usually mean something is being torn up.

    93 AX-5 to a 95 or 96 AX-5 problem!

I did the same swap on my old jeep and it didn't make any noises:?|
