I went through 3 Pioneer headunits before I swapped to Sony's. The Pioneers didn't seem to like dust or any moisture at all. Every Sony I've had has also had easier controls for my subwoofers, not as much fine tune capabilities but much easier to change on the fly or driving down the road...

Degree shims are meant to be a band-aid fix for the pinion angle. Using them to relocate your shocks could give you some serious vibrations if you don't check the pinion angle first.

A jk with death wobble? Haven't heard of one yet, but the shaking until stopping is one of the symptoms of death wobble. Search for death wobble in tj's and see if it's similar to what you experience. The cure for it should be the same too.

They're electric lockers so I'd assume you can run a switch for each locker individually if you felt like it.
