    Its not north carolina for nothing. Now if you said SC you would be ok. But since you own a jeep its all good. We will let you think you are southerner. Beside's y'all dont have the full southern accent. Not to mention on a map you are prety much in the center of the east coast line.

    Its a 88yj IL6 with a weber. The alternator is fine. Tested it yesterday. Also tested the starter. There is no direct wire from the starter to the coil. The starter runs to a relay and ridirects from there. I replace the relay already. Coming down to the module, ignition switch or I have no...

    Another igniton problem. Any ideas?

    It wont even crank unless I cross the termials on the starter. I have plenty of juice to run everything else on the jeep. But I will take the alternater off tonight and check it. The volt meter was rite at 14. I didnt notice any jumping on it thow.

    I would not remove it just hollow it out. I know her in FL it is illegal for any auto repair shop to touch your vehicle if you dont have one on the vehicle and we dont have emmisons. This way only you know it is hollow. Even if they guess it dont matter as long as it is visualy there.

    Why not just by a impact wrench? I bought one for 70 bucks at lowes thats rated up to 450 oor 500 pounds. That bad boy breaks everything free. The air compressor was only $200 bucks. Best money I ever spent. Made me wonder why the hell I waited so long to buy it. Life is good now.

    not spacers I just pulled my Carter off and replaced it with a weber. It was giving me the normal problems. Not wanting to idle properly. I was going to put it on ebay for 45 bucks but if some one here wants it I would rather sell it here. PM me if your interested.

    I just thought I would follow up on this thread. I just finished installing my rebuilt weber and canning the carter. No more stalling problems. I know idle at 600rpms and run smooth as a babys butt.

    Wheel-tire help PLEASE!! I just had a weber carb rebuilt for $140. I got a lifetime warranty with it for a additonal 40 bucks. You may want to check these guys out. http://www.nationalcarburetors.com/ I know they are not in your area but the do ship and have great prices.
