Lol I know what you mean. Maybe I should start a thread just for photos we take while cruising in our jeeps. I like the ones with hunting and fishing with the awesome backgrounds. Keep it coming guys. Aloha

New baby Terry on the way

Congratulations Terry! I have two sons and two daughters. And I have to say girls are easier to deal with in the beginning. It's when they get old enough to start dating that starts driving you nuts!

    Introducing Jeep Details

I just tried it. Is it possible to get more room to list our mods. My list got cut short. I think this is a cool feature. Now we can see what mods. people have and get opinions on them. Thanks Terry

    Air filters

I use a K&N also, without the sock. Haven't had any mud or water get past the filter. The oil in the filter media should prevent that.

    Locker, front or rear?

Ok so I've had my rear locker in for a couple of days now and I have experienced the the drivability issues, but to me it isn't that bad. I just have to be careful with the throttle around corners. I also got to do some mud bogging yesterday with my brother in law who has a lifted Toyota, same...

    Locker, front or rear?

Point well taken. I've ridden in my buddies Tj, his was locked front and back. and I noticed what your talking about, it does want to plow straight ahead. and sharp turns on hard surfaces, forget about it. So it looks like I'll have to save up more coin for a selectable locker.

    Locker, front or rear?

Put a Spartan locker in my Dana 44. Pretty easy, only took about 2 hours. There's a ditch in my back yard that I had trouble crossing in 4 wheel drive, now I can cross it in 2 wheel drive. Next ill order up some heavy duty axles and a locker for the front.

    manual vs automatic

I vote standard. Less chance of getting stranded. No need to worry about leaking ATF or your trans. getting waterlogged in those deep mud holes. Even if a standard trans. breaks its usually just a gear or two that gives up, so at least you can still get home.

    Idle up and down

On initial start up, the engine is on a high idle to warm up faster. So if there is a vacuum leak it wouldn't show up until the idle drops down to normal ranges.

    Idle up and down

Sounds like a vacuum leak, could it be you missed something when you put it back together?
