    part time and 4lo are serious 4wd. Wheels need to slip during turns, so no pavement. 4wd full time is akin to AWD, the front and rear drive shafts make use of a differential and are not locked.

    I am guessing a select trac NV242? If so did you try to use 2wd? Sometimes T'cases get 'stuck'* in 4wd - shifting to N or reverse may unload Tcase from the current position . *Torque locked would be a good description

    A thought - with vin # parts dept MAY be able to access the springs by part number that were installed when built. Today computers allow for some detailed build sheets compared to the old days. Does not hurt to ask. Did jeep say the height would increase an inch or two? I question...

    first - good luck with IRMA - leave if suggested. Was there a issue before windshield replaced - ? Drains would likely be sunroof - a self inflicted hole in roof that will leak. Also th AC drain but they did not fail same time windshield replaced. I suggest you contact glass...

    No other codes? - a misfire P030x is Ignition, Injectors, or mechanical. Maybe look at plugs -wet, dry, black, tan ? swap coil with another see if code moves, to new cylinder Can do same to check inj. What type plug are you using? it matters. then move on to Compression and vacuum...

    don't ASSUME no light means no codes. you were driving when it 'neutraled' - were in 2wd. when shifting T'case will 4WD light come on? you are able to restart vehicle, CAREFULLY try restarting in D. confirm a 32rh trans for a detailed troublshoot

    Start simple things first - check trans fluid - quantity, color, smell, no particles. CODES - get codes, ideally a scan BUT key trick is a start.

    The TB is closed at start, opening a TB gives the engine AIR suggesting it is overfueling, Checking codes would ID a IAC wiring issue....and many other systems.
