Yes, but if you get the axles, you will have to add leaf spring plates to the rear since all rubicons have front and rear coil springs and you only have fronts while the rear is leafs on your cherokee

thats weird that half a quart is causing that issue. usually there is enough extra volume in oil pans to cover a half quart over fill. but that engine is direct injection? if so, that is for sure why its getting so gunked up and needs a catch can. for some reason, direct injection engines...

I would say your best bet is try out your other ideas and see if they work. All that spring and deal does is make a connection when you push the horn button to conolete the circuit so as long as your replacement item doesnt ground out somewhere else, you should be good
