OK YJ experts, need your help. 1993 Sahara, 4.0L, 5 speed, 69,000K, bare bones stock. The trans insulator (stabilizer) stud was stripped at the bottom and loose when I got Jeep last fall. I shimmed it and managed to get enough threads on the nut to tighten it up, and ordered a new one. At the end of our recent 240 mile camping trip I was getting a variety of noises from that general area that were not there before. It started out as a quiet buzzing/vibrating, went to a rattle at low starting speeds, all the way up to where the trans sounded like it was out of fluid! The stud is still tight.
