Help, I'm looking to build or buy a traction bar for my 93 YJ SOA. Looking for ideas and suggestions. Pictures are worth a thousand words.

I don't want this happening again. Happend while crawling from rock to rock. At Funny Rocks near the Naches Trail near Cliffdell, WA.

What brand springs are those? Why only 4-leaf in the rear?

A light spring pack coupled with long 'anti-wrap' spring perches likely aggravated the problem.

Right on the money, Bounty Hunter. They are 1.5" Ranchos'. Never again, I had factory springs on it, they were OK, but tired(not wrapped). So, I put the brand new ranchos' on and in one weekend this is what they looked like. Just recently found a nice set of factory springs from a 95. Been wheeling with them(nothing serious)and they're holding up. Winter is upon us, time to modify, you know what I mean.

I have heard good things about sams track bar. I preferably would make on since the materials cost way less. I would avoid the skyjacket 5th link like the plague. I had to install one for a buddy, one of the worse designed POS I have had the pleasure to install. For the price it should have been better.

I recently looked at the Fabtech FTS94041 Jeep YJ 87-95 Rear Single Traction Bar. Anybody have any performance/install feedback on this? FTS94041 Jeep YJ 87-95 Rear Single Traction Bar FTS94041 Jeep YJ 87-95 Rear Single Traction Bar

For some reason, I'm not seeing any pictures of this from you.. I can see the other poster's pictures though..

Google Bambar.... Interesting idea for an antiwrap bar. I think I've got enough room under my YJ to try it.... I was going to build a support for my rear dana 44 at the same time and tie it into the same cross member that I use for my long travel shocks. I've been trying to figure out a way to use the tractor joints as well since there are plenty of them in the barns on the ranch.
