hey i was wondering what year fenders were interchangable...someone hit my buddies xj last night and there are a bunch of xjs in a junk yard where i get stuff for cheap so whats years fenders would fit a 96 xj?

I know that they changed the body styling a little in 97. I would try to get as close to 96 as you can without going over.

Hi,

1997 was the first model year of the "updated" Cherokee design. I believe the fenders from 1997 to 2001 (end of production) are interchangeable.

I dono if this will help, but there is a white 4dr. 92 in the junk yard from my house with all the body panels on it. Just letting you know.
