Wrangler roof rack system - help needed

I was wondering if anyone ever built a full roof rack system out of EMT conduit and doesn't mind to share the pearls of wisdom. It looks doable and more or less sturdy if done with 1" conduit but I just wanted to see what others have done before starting this project. thanks in advance.

Go to cherokee forum/fabrication and search emt roof rack. I know your looking to make one for a wrangler, but they have a lot of info on making them.
