Wrang unlimited almost old land rover

Saw this while i was filling up at $2.69 took a quick pic with my phone...

anyone care to explain chicken and the egg to me? which came first. the jeep or land rover.

That is a Land Rover Defender 90. They have been around in the US since about 1990 or so. They also have foreign models like the 110 that are longer.
They are some of the best offroaders that LR makes but very pricey, even used.

Weren't they both used in WWII? One with the Brits and one with the Yanks?
