Wooom noise transmission

Hi everybody,

i would like to ask for some suggestions regarding this wierd noise I hear. Its a grand cherokee 2009 automatic gear 150000km.

when accelerating trough 60kmh and faster I can hear a light wooom woom noise and slight vibration ( almost nothing) coming from transmission, it goes down when the speed is steady at 120kmh for instance but never totally disappears. I tried at those speeds to bring the lever to N position and it stops even when pushing gas pedal in neutral I cant hear any noise. For sure it comes from transmission.

if someone knows anything about it I would really appreciate some information,

Most likely coming from the rear axle, especially if it's only when in gear and accelerating. Rear axle might need a rebuild with new bearings.

Same problem, slight vibration, harmonic distortions, at 45 to 60 mph. 2002 Liberty, disconnected drive shaft ran it in front wheel drive, same noise / vibration
