Winterizing

Wondering the tips and tricks of winterizing my jeep after all the summer use. Ive noticed when I put the bolts back on the doors for the winter they dont seem to tighten all the way on now, they leave a gap. Also what should I do about small rust spots, Im thinking of just coating them with clear nail polish until the summer when I can afford to get em fixed. Any other tips to get my jeep ready for the upcoming winter driving, and winter maintance would be appreciated.

what bolts did you take off the doors?

as for the rust spots, i'd say to sand them down until the rust is gone, and paint over them with a good preventive primer.... it may not look the best... but will look much better than a hole will next year

I just mean I put the nuts back on the bolts for the doors, you know the ones everyone keeps off so the doors come of really easy.
