I have a 1998 TJ with the 4.0 liter and 32rh auto trans. It lost reverse and 3rd this weekend. I new it was going soon but it supprised me. I would like to know if anyone could recomend a good heavy-duty, complete rebuild kit. Also any thoughts on upgrades to the trans to help it.
I'm pretty sure the rear band is toast, but low and 2nd work fine. There was lots of metalic material in the pan when I removed it. I was just wondering if there was a better alternative to the parts house generic rebuild kits that someone has had a good experence with and would recommend.
