Working over Jeep and I am going to need to replace the shocks, It has a 3" Lift and very stiff springs. Looking around there are just alot of choices, What do you all recomend?
Go with "insert you favorite brand here" Hydro mulit chambered shocks. If you are a fast driver and hit the high spots like you are mad at the world go Nitro gas shocks. There is a ton of oppions out there but many are made the same way with nice stickers and paint. Look for a good thick piston and a well made body and go for it dude! tug
Yeah, Rancho, BDS, Skyjacker, Superlift, etc, etc, etc.. they make lifts, but almost none of them actually make their own shocks, most are bought from the same source. What kind of springs do you have?
The lift was on it when I bought the jeep the rear sagged due to spring flex so I just installed an additional leaf in the rear pack this weekend it now has 4 springs same as the front
Doetsch-Tech 3000's are great smooth riding hydraulic shocks for about $30 each, with a lifetime warranty. I asked this question a lot of places before buying the DT's.
