Placed the order today and have my lift coming in on Friday! follow my rutz out of Ohio has the best deal I have found. 3" Rough Country Lift with shocks, and shipping all for $435.00. These folks were very helpfull and friendly I talked to Todd, By buying this month I recived a shock upgrade free. Now lets just see how good everything works out. Thanks to all who have given input on my final desision. Tug[addsig]

Thanks for the words. My poor old supension was so shot that am surprised it made it this far. The orginal stock spring are in a big ol negitive arch shock are shot and I am running 27" street tread that rub on the hwy if any one of any size is in the rear seat.

I am going to take pics and mesurements for sure cause I have never know what the factory supension was in inches. I am thinking the 3" lift on my ol woren out stuff will be more like 4" 5" or maybe even more.

Found some nice used AT tires to get me through till I can afford some better meats. All in all it is starting to look like a worthy off roader. Last night I added the hand throttle, that is a neat upgrade, I love it. My bumper is going on in the morning and it is a real Pork Chop of a thing. pics will be coming sone.

I think I am going to put hurcliner on the bumper, when I get around to the interior this summer. Now I really need new seats and I think I will be good to go ;-) for a day or two. Tug

Hey Tug...if you're thinking about new seats, why not just do what I did. My seats were old, staind and a little ripped so instead of buying new, expensive seats, I just went with the Wet Oakle seat covers. They're more expensive than most other seat covers but they look excellent (like whole new seats), they're waterproof and they're comfortable too. They're not hot in the summer....they won't burn your butt. Oh ya one other thing with your lift. When I ordered my lift, they had the shocks that were made for my size lift but I found that I could fit the next size up of shocks with out any problems of them bottoming out (front only). The ones that were meant for my lift would actually limit the suspension travel (too short) beacause they were maxed out at full articulation. I have 4"lift shocks installed in the front now with only 3" lift. Just something to think about.[addsig]

Wet okleys would be great but I have a broken back frame in th current seat drivers side. Covers are ok just have to place a rubber made box in the back seat to hold the front one in place. Wanted to get me some Mustang seats and okley them but can not find a set any where. Oh well we have to walk before we run. tug[addsig]

UPS brought me the lift only 47 hours after I made the payment on this lift. If the thing preforms like the Follow My Ruts boys do I will be a very happy camper. Now to find the time to install this bad boy. tug[addsig]
