I may want to trim my fender flares when I get my 31" tires this weekend, so that I have more room for the suspension to unjulate. I know where to trim them but what is the best way and/or tool to use to trim them?[addsig]

Utility knife, be VERY CAREFUL. Or install TJ flares for a LOT more tire clearance.[addsig]

I used metal shears... went a LOT faster than it was going with a utility knife... Then when I was done... I used some sandpaper to smooth out the job... get ready for people to ask how much you lifted it... i had many people say "when did you lift it", when in fact... all I did was cut material away[addsig]

Metal Shears or Tin snips...a good pair from home depot will run you 15$ and save you long hours of work with an nice and sharp razor blade. (murphys law 12...the sharper the knife the more cuts you will get). We flame polished the fender flairs after we cut them using a propane torch and quickly passed it over the cuts, practice on a cut off piece first.[addsig]
