Asking this for my brother, as I wasn't terribly sure about the answer...
Here's the scenario... He lives in Michigan. There's a vehicle down in Texas that he's thinking about buying. We really don't have the means to trailer it. Plan is that I'd drive him down to it, and then he'd drive it back. The question is, what do you do about registration, plates, and so on, when you're driving it cross-country? I seem to recall that there's a certain time period that you can drive a car without plates, if you're moving it from one place to another, could be mistaken on that. Figured someone on here would know.
