what type of transmission does an automatic 97 TJ come with? Im looking to get a new gear for the speedo, so i dont get pulled over again, anyone know where to go to get such a thing?

look...your best bet and most easy alternative is to go to the dealer...tell them what size tire you have, and they will order you the correct gear around 15 bucks. If you're running 33's (as I am) your speedo is only about 5 mph off at 65, so I would not bother...just slow down a little.
