I know this has been discussed many times but mine is a little different. When investigating sluggish shifter, and reading all the valuable information on this forum, I decided it was time to remove the console and lube the linkage. After much head scratching and holding my tongue just right I finally remove the console. In the shifter pits (for lack of a better term) and under the carpet I found approximately $15.00 in change. Some coins under the shift lever were actually bent. Cleaned it all out, bought coffee and traveled to the car wash to clean the engine. :lol:
