Trans. Shifter Moved

I had a 4" lift put on my 06 Rubicon and the shop said they had to adjust my shift stick due to it being a 6 speed transmission. All works normal except the stick now angles toward my leg and hugs my leg. The shifter is bent as normal just bends toward my leg rather than up and down.What did they do and why?:shock:

They didn't do crap.. They probably installed a T-case drop with in turn will move the shifter very slightly, as for that much movement, no clue what they did, as far as I know, in stock configuration, the nsg370 does not have shifter adjustment if it is the stock shifter, the aftermarket short throw's do, but that is just to have positive engagement when rowing through gears.

The bend in the transmission shifter is normally parallel to the drive train if I remember. The bend is now toward my leg. I do agree they installed a drop I just would not think the shift angle would change so much.

It shouldn't have turned toward your leg at all.

Have you asked the shop about it?

I wonder if they physically bent the stick?
