throttle body spacers

yes they do... but some people think they aren't worth the money... the thing is, you need to know what the spacer does in order to find the right one... i had this problem when i started putting cold air intake and aftermarket exhaust. i looked around at the different styles and the truth is.. some companies sell crap... the spacer should look like the inside of a rifle.. with the spiraling grooves... and when the air comes into your engine it's supposed to spiral in therefore dumping more air and dumping it faster into your engine... but you do need a better intake breather than stock and also a better exhaust... remember.. ( more air in / more air dumped / the more you need to let out) a performance chip works well with this set up...

there is a huge thread about this in the performance section.. I reserve my option to comment until I see a Dyno sheet of before and after.. until then I don't know.. and I have one on my YJ

There was a guy who had a 2.5L and he added first a 4.0L TB, then a bored out 62mm TB, then a helix spacer, then a bored out spacer. He dyno'd all combinations. Best results was with the 62mm TB and the bored out spacer. Also, the TB spacer moves the torque curve a bit down, which is good for us jeepers.
