1989 Jeep Cherokee Lifted

Im looking for something for the winter because i sold my 99 wrangler for a bike because out here in nor cal you have to drive 20 miles just to get somewhere. So now i need a beater for the winter when it rains i found this jeep... btw nice run on sentence huh? haha So what do you guys think i offered 800 bucks. What do you think about the repairs, i dont mind working on it i need something to do with my spare time.

The bench seat looks like it's from a Comanche, and looks butch, but you could change that easy enough. Check the door mounts, good chance they need welding as they commonly crack away from the chassis.

Don't expect that mileage, that's high for an old 4.0L running on 31" tires and stock gears. The owner probably didn't correct the speedo which caused the error in mileage.

Check the airbox for oil blowby, likely has it. Check the front and rear axle gear ratios to make sure they match. Somebody will install anything just to make a sale.

Overall not bad for the price.

I think that is a little pricey. here in the northeast stock lo milage 95 xj's are selling for that much.

Offer $800 and see if he bites

Grand Cherokees are the new hot ticket. BUY IT. They are soo inexpensive right now that guys are making them into killer off-roaders. I couldn't believe how many I seen this weekend at The York Jeep Show.
