The Serpentine belt from Satan!

Long story made short... Belt started chirping a little, sprayed belt dressing on, got worse, decided to replace belt since it looked old and worn. Started loosening bolts on power steering pump....even removed the top one facing grill. That's it! Can't seem to make any more progress... Apparently the current belt was installed by Satan himself. Any and all help or info will be greatly appreciated!
 

There is one bolted to intake from behind and there is the adjuster bolt that you have to get from under the intake. Kinda a pain lol
 
why not just use the tension pulley I put a wrench on it putting pressure on spring till belt comes loose
 
I was assuming it was a 4.0l which don't have a tension pulley. Sorry if I assumed wrong. They have a manual tensioner which is the p/s pump
 

yup. unless the engine is different in the cherokee and wrangler, the 4.0 uses the pump to tighten the serpentine belt by turning a bolt and then tightening the other 3 or 4 bolts to hold it locked
