The blue Icon Blues

Hey Terry! Sorry to bother you... I'm having some problems with the board. After I look at one or two posts, or if I respond to anyone's post, the rest of the board shows that I've looked through everything. All the orange icons turn blue...it's getting hard to remember what I've read and what I haven't. Sorry again, but is there something I can do to my computer to fix this???

Make sure cookies are enabled, and that you have enough space allocated to Temp. Internet Files. Someplace to start.

Hi,

This has been happening to me for a long time, I believe since the x-mas or halloween themes. Basically what I've found is that as long as I'm the only one on the board posting, the icons seem to hold in their respective read/unread states for a long time, or at least the time it takes me to read all the posts.

On the flip side, when others on the board are posting while I'm on, the icons will almost instantly revert to all being marked as read (aka. blue icon).

So It seems to be an issue with the board's settings. Most all Message board softwares have a setting for how long it retains the read/unread post icon status (color) for a given user's session.

Mine used to do that also after the Christmas theme. I switched the theme to 'PNTheme' and all is well again. Try that if you're not already. Click on 'Profile' at the top of the screen and then scroll down to the bottom to change themes.
