Sway Bar Link Length (can't say that 3 times fast)

I have a lifted CJ5 with a shackle lift and a spring lift but am not sure total lift inches. I need to get longer sway bar link's (mine are stock) but am not sure what length to get. Is there a certain way to measure or figure the correct length. Also was looking at different disconnects and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them and safety and ease of use?

You may want to send "69jeepcj" a messsage....He seems to have some great ideas when it comes to everything, especially suspension on CJ5's. I believe (or at least how I did my CJ7, but in reverse because I lowered it), I would disconnect the linkage and have the CJ resting on the ground at crub weight. Then take a measurement from the spring plate stud to the sway bar eye with the arms of the bar as parrallel as possible to the ground. After that I found a link that was just a little shorter to create tension. The more tension, the stiffer the ride (side to side roll away).

On my lifted CJ-5 (3" shackle and 2.5" spring) I purchased new links from Skyjacker that fit great and are also easily disconnected.
