Ok, I just got my '96 Cherokee last month. It has 31X10.5 15 tires on it and i am looking for a 3" lift. I am new to this so i need as much help as possible. Would i be better off with a kit from Skyjacker or Explorer Pro Comp. I have not had too much luck finding anyone who has any knowledge of these kits. Thanks for any help you give. If You have an recommendations as to another reasonable suspension kit thats not going to sacrifice ride quality let me know. Thanks.

I just spoke with a guy last night who has the pro comp lift on his XJ. He's a member of a local Jeep club that is starting and he told me to stay away from it due to the harsh ride and lack of flex.

Skyjacker is good quality, but the kits do not include some items that will need to be purchased seperately. This adds to the already high price of these kits, but they are good suspensions.

I agree with Bounty and would recomend Rusty's offroad. Other good kits are Rubicon Express, BDS, and Superlift. Rough Country is a pretty inexpensive kit that has everything you need.

[Edit] apparently Rusty's kits contain the same springs as Rough country.
