Yesterday as I was leaving the apartment complex, I was forced to take a different route due to a UPS truck and a FedEx truck blocking my normal path of travel. Had they not been there, I may have never seen what is in the pictures below. I don't know this Jeep owner, but it was definately an unfortunate day for them... especially if the TJ is their daily driver.
From the evidence at the scene, the TJ suffered collateral damage from a car on fire in the adjacent parking space. There was minimal damage to the interior of the Jeep, with the front and rear seat cushions being melted, damage to the seat belts, and damage to the interior door panel. You can see the soft top has been partially burned away, the upper half-door is burned away completely, the fender flares have been melted, and there is heat/fire damage to the paint. I would also question the integrity of the tires on that side of the TJ due to heat damage. Perhaps in the coming weeks this Jeep will be fixed and back on the road with it's current owner. At this point, I would imagine things lie in the hands of the insurance companies.
