I have a '79 CJ5 with a 304 V8 and a couple of third-party manuals and I need to replace the starter. Manual just says to disconnect wires, remove mounting bolts, and pull starter. I've taken off the two obvious bolts but can't remove the starter.
Any advice would be much appreciated. I don't want to force anything so I'm gonna wait for some guidance.
