Ive checked all the fuses and relays. All good. It was like that when i bought it can someone help? Its an automatic with a 44RE transmission in it. Pls someone help! Message me Thank you

Not sure if the problem is the same as what i had in my old 90 dodge pickup, but the passing gear kick down linkage from the throttle to the transmision was stuck and doing the same thing.

How do i check this? Do i follow the bar to the trans and when i do, how do i know if its right or not?

Yes. follow the bar from the throttle linkage to the transmision. It might be a cable instead. I'm not sure what your GC has. At the transmision, Spray the linkage with a penetrating oil and work it back and forth till it frees up. If you have the cable and the cable is stuck, You may have to replace it. If the overdrive shifts electronicaly, Then throw everything i've mentioned out the window.

Thank you i will try that tomorrow morning.........its 9pm now or i would so go out there and try it now......
