Rubicon King concept

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon King
An amplification of Jeep's most capable off-road machine. Taking full advantage of the 4:1 ratio Rock-Trac transfer case and Tru-Lok equipped Dana 44 axles, the Rubicon King utilizes massive BF Goodrich 37 x 12.50-17 TA Krawler tires mounted on Mopar/Hutchinson beadlock wheels. Superlift Suspension provided its new 4-inch lift for extra ground clearance and Warn-supplied new 9.0 RC Rock Crawling Winch.

Like a couple concepts I've seen before it looks good to me, D.C... now build it!

Nice looking package, I really like the hugger orange. The only problem is that the parts seem a little mismatched and you'd pay out the nose for a factory version. Where'd the turn signals go? I thought they were in the grille of the new models

It's got an AEV hood on it. Not that my comment really adds to the discussion any, but I was just looking at it in the new quadratec catalog.

Well I posted it after a quick glance after looking for something else. Apparently they threw this together to look good at a show. Well it does look good... but it's really just a mall crawler with the stock drivetrain, axles, and steering parts.

and if they build it, we'd be looking at the worlds most expensive stock Jeep.
And one that would see a lot of stealership repair time...
The Dana 44 wasn't designed to take 37's with 4:1 transfer case pushing all that torque through them. Even with top end after market axle shafts your going to be blowing them left and right. Dana 60's are going to be the first thing many of the new owners first buy.

Shoot is no better than getting a TJ sitting on 35's with a Dana 35 in the rear!

I like it a lot, but I agree with everyone here that it does have a lot of aftermarket parts and could probably be built cheaper by the consumer. As far as I'm concerned the stock Rubicon package is good enough as it is. Plus, that rear roll bar is a step in the wrong direction. The newer design is way safer I think.

Actually the rear roll bar is a better transition in a rear facing roll (endo). The stock TJ roll bar will cause a much large impact on the roof of the cage if the Jeep was to roll backwards. The idea is to gradually transition the forces that the Jeep is seeing along the roll bar. The current TJ roll bar puts a lot of force on one very unsupported bend, and than a lot on the roof in one instant in a worse case scenario. Of course it's safer for rear seat passengers, but it's not the best designed cage overall, not to mention that the B pillar is three pieces that bolt together. :D

That color is MONEY! I like it.

I know you like that style of roll bar TC, but to me it makes it look "pickup-like".

Guess that's why they call them "Sport" bars......:( :(
