Rookie needs advice

Hello to all. I am picking up my first Jeep tomorrow. I'm getting a 2006 Rubicon. I'm very excited to join the Jeep culture/lifestyle. My question pertains to the mods. What is the first, easiest and most noticible mod that I can do? I'm pretty handy so I can do quite a bit of mechanical work but since the engine has only 18k I'd like to keep it stock. Where is the best place to buy accessories? Any advice would be great. I have been building Hot Rods and muscle cars since I was 14 (I'm 32 now). This is the first vehicle that will see mud on purpose. I'm looking foward to it.

First welcome to the Z! And congratulations on your new love...

The most noticible mod that will be seen by others will be tires. Of course that opens another door to mods that includes lifts, gears and lots of other things. The first question you have to ask yourself is what you want to do with your new toy.

Welcome.....I don't think there are too many places on the net to find info than here. Quadratec is good and also try JP Magazine. Just like HotRod or SuperChevy, the back few pages are loaded with different vendors that have websites.

So do you have a 69 Copo or is that just a fantasy like mine?

She's very real. 1969 Central Office Production Order 9561 427 C.I./425 H.P. I have been into cars since I was a kid. When I was 12 I bought my first car (with my Grandfathers help), a 1966 BelAir. The only problem was some one else liked her more than me and stole her about 3 years ago. Here's a pic of the Camaro though, enjoy.
