My catalytic converter on my 97 TJ 6cyl is rattling and clogged and needs to be replaced. My Jeep was build for and with California emissions, but the Jeep in no longer in CA. I would like to replace it with a standard direct fit converter with an O2 sensor port on it. Will I have any problems with sensors and the computer? Will I have any other installation issues? I want to save the money and not buy the CA OEM converter!
