i am out of town and the jeep starts rattlin. it is the bearings. i start to drop the oil pan, and cannot get it off. i tried to raise the motor as someone else suggested) and i could not get it out. i went to this link http//www.jeepin.com/features/rearmain/index.asp and found out you can raise the vehicle from the frame and get the pan out. after a day of trying it worked in less than 15 minutes. all of the bearings were loose. i changed them and now to see if it will run. i will keep you posted. ( i have not got it back together yet)
