Problem after lift

Just had a body lift put on and now I can barely get it in reverse. 89 5 speed manual. If I dont force and hold shifter whole time im backing out, it pops out of gear!!! Something need adjusted? Thank you

body may be shifted forward a bit look to see old lift block marks on frame and on body
some kits require trimming around hole for shifter (note I said some)not all do
I always hated body lifts but yes there inexpensive
who installed it

Yea shop did it. I ordered performance brand kit

Ya any ones I have done have required shifter mods or the hole to cut out and a custom boot installed. Don't leave it to long or else it will take out the trans.
