Performance upgrade question

Score one for the Jeep dealer

I have a 90 4.0l auto and I'm always looking for performance items to put on it just for fun. They are extremely hard to find but I finally found a new throttle body that will fit this and i will be able to afford it soon. I'm wondering how this will affect my air/fuel ratio because I already have cat back exhaust and a 6x9 kandN filter on it. Ive sorta looked into it and it seems I can build a device to adjust my map sensor outputs to help with the fuel ratio. Is it a good idea to look into this because I want my engine to not only run strong but run right. Any suggestions on this would be welcome I plan on purchasing this within the next month. Has anyone built a MAP sensor adjuster? Also there was a note about changing the throttle position sensor settings? how does one go about that?

Your best normally aspirated gains are going to come from swapping on a 91 and newer high-port HO cylinder head. Check out aftermarket camshafts too.

This is a good site for anyone wanting to read a very good, and very in-depth buildup of a 4.0

Your jeep will still run strong with that mod, an adjustible MAP may not be needed. I'm installing one (it's already built) because I've got the improved intake and exhaust + a performance camshaft.
