Just to let you guys know, after months of silence, Paragon has updated it's website ( www.paragonap.com ) to say "Park News: Stay Tuned". Hopefully that means some sort of announcement (hopefully good) will come soon.
For those of you who haven't heard, Paragon was closed down back around May (IIRC) because the landowner decided to sell the land the park was on to a private company who claimed they wanted to build a cargo airport on the land. The owner claimed Paragon missed lease payments (which management has since been disputing in court) and used this as a basis to have Paragon evicted from the land. Recent press seems to indicate that the airport deal has fallen through.
As a side note, Paragon temporarily opened up at a 'new' location at a campground a few miles down the road, but were only officially open for two days before being closed down again due to legal issues (the owner of the campground land had an agreement with state government not to develop the land and cutting trails apparently violated this agreement - also, there were issues with permits for the use of the land).
Here's hoping they can put this mess behind them and open up again. My Jeep's been too clean for too long. 8)
