I am new to these forums so my apologies if this tread should be in the wagoneer section, it seemed correct at the time.
To begin with I have a relatively newly purchased 1974 jeep wagoneer. It has the amc 360 engine, just had the turbomatic 400 rebuilt, and I'm having a weird issue with my alternator. I took my rig to my local autoparts shop to have the charging system tested. The test read that I have a bad regulator. I believe the regulator is on the firewall, its not plugged into anything. The alternator itself has a positive and negative wire cming off but I can not find the leads for either the firewall mounted regulator, or even the internall regulator on the alternator.
Any suggestions or possible help, pics, etc. Is greatly appreciated.
