I am so frustrated. I bought a Mopar rebuild kit and with help of a buddy, rebuilt the transmission in my 04 Rubicon. Now a month later the grinding has returned in 2nd gear, 3rd gear is now making horrible noises and shifting is hard. I understand this transmission is notorious for shifting issues. I hear the AX-15 is a direct swap and is a much better trans. Anyone have experience with this transmission and whether the swap is direct?
