I have installed a Nokia mobile phone car kit in a '96 Cherokee
but I'm not sure where the radio mute wire (yellow wire) should be connected to, it will mute the radio when a call is received or made. Thanks in advance.
Do you know what the mute wire does? What I mean is, does it send out 12 volts? If so, you could use a relay to shut off the radio when a call comes in. :mrgreen:
I doubt the stock radio will have a "mute" wire.

most factory radios don't come equipped with that option, but many aftermarket ones do and i believe it would be a brown wire on the aftermarket radio/cd player that you yellow one would hook to.
