canada, but am currently living in abbotsford,
british columbia. i am in flight training for my
commercial helicopter pilots license.
now what you really want to know, i have a 92
yj 4.0, 4inch pro comp. susp. lift, 33x12.5
goodyear wrangler mtr's, 4:10 gears, k&n filter,
hedman header,and other good stuff.
i do all of my own work on the jeep, i am very
mechanicaly inclined. i used to restore vehicles
with my dad as a kid, and worked as a apprentic
auto mechanic for a year and as heavy duty for a
year. well thats enough for now. ill talk with you

Hey welcome to the board. That sounds like a nive YJ you have there. Post some pics if you get a chance. Chopper pilot......nice! My Dad used to fly rotary wing back in the Navy. Later

thanks guys (and girlz) for the warm welcome,
im sure we'll have a great time. you guys have
given me some pretty good info and advice since
ive been monitoring and i hope to return the favor.

Hey BENT, you're about 45 minutes from me. I've been looking into taking commercial helicopters as well but can't afford it. I've looked into the schools in Abbotsford but I think I'm gonna take it at Boundry Bay helicopters since it's only 10 minutes from my parents place and 10 minutes from work. It'll be a few years from now if I take the school if I even take it at all since I'm making pretty good money now...the hours and the work just suck. Trying to find some kind of government loan or grant for commercial helicopters but the only thing I can find is for fixed wing. It's been about a year since I've looked into it but just wondering what it costs now to complete the school. Last I looked it was about $40,000.
P.S. I hope you're not an Edmonton Oilers fan.

welcome along... and i will say i am quite thankful for chopper pilots in getting me to the hospital that saved my life some time back

oh no! not another jeep person on here! ugh! ;) welcome aboard...lol

hey craig, the couse is about $42,000, the government only
approves certain schools for funding, and the max you can
get is 22,000, and you have to come up with the rest.
thats cool that you live van, i dont see many people on here
from canada.
