What would you all think about getting 15X7 front rims and 15x8 Rear.

Why I ask this question?

I Old Roommate has gotten new rims for his 62 Vette and would sell me his Old Slots for around 10-25 cents on the dollar. Or should I just get the 15x8 and seek another set of 15x8. Maybe I can get the same Tires for them and then maybe no one will notice the 1" difference.

I don't think those wheels have the same lug pattern diameter, and you won't be able to do a 4wheel rotation, which is VERY important on a Jeep :-D [addsig]

I mentioned that in the original post Jeep or Not it is a Nice car and I don't know many that wouldn't take a ride in it if offered.

Back to the Question.
Would 15x8 rear and 15x7 front with the same size tires look funny. I know it will cost me more to rotate but I have that covered.[addsig]

anyone else have a reason, other than Tire Rotation, that would justify me not getting the Slots that ore on the red Vette?

Again 15x7 Front 15x8 Rear all have 5x4.5 bolt pattern. and I can get Tire rotation/remounts for free.
