need seats, any recommendations?

This cj I bought has a beach seat which at first I liked but its kinda slippery, especially on turns and since I don't use doors I'd like to have my bum firmly in a seat as I make a hard right skipping through a yellow light and not be hanging on by a seatbelt and a steering wheel.

I'm just craigslisting and junkyard shopping. My old yj had mustang seats which I loved. I'm gonna need new floor to seat brackets and the seats btw. I'm assuming I'll pay the most for the brackets unless I find a pair of seats with the cj seat brackets attached. I'm not too picky I just want buckets, preferably low backs but money talks.

Any ideas on what cars/trucks to rip them out of would be great.

Also along with the seats and mount brackets, I'll need shoulder belts since it still has lap belts. But that's another thread I think.

Thanks again!

Also pre-98 grand cherokee seats are very comfy adn supposedly bolt in swap for YJ&TJ, I assume some CJ's as well (<- internet info that I have not verified.)

If price is not a problem, suspension seats. Best darn seats to plop your tooshy into, especially if your bouncing around on a trail. When i initially changed, you could feel the difference in your body, way less fatigued after a day of wheeling. since going suspension seats 5 some odd years ago, it is the only thing I use in my vehicles now.

'Black Betty' started in my life with these hard plastic budget seats (JC Whitney type) that made it virtually impossible for me to climb in/out of her when the top was on.

Later, I lucked into some free (made in lower slbovia) knock off seats that looked like Corbeau A4's but the reclining mechanism went kaput after a few months, so I saved up and got the genuince article Corbeau's but it also broke, the difference was Corbeau warranties their seats and sent me a new mechanism post haste. I've since supported the back of this seat by virtue of the tight clearance of the left rear fenderwell and the seat back. Overall the profile of this seat keeps my hiney frimly planted and I liked their looks.

As for me though if I had to do it over again I'd go with rigid back (rather than reclining) seats that would eliminate this issue. Over the last few years though, these Corbeau A4's have help up well for me.

Corbeau may be a lil too rich for my blood but I'll never turn down a good price.. grand Cherokee are cozy I've sat in them before. Its nice to know since were in 2013 there's of of old seats out there cheap yet technologically advanced enough to satisfy anyone.
Take my DD. A 1977 mercedes 300d. It was 10 years ahead of most cars then and built to.last. car starts faster tben my girls 2012 toyota. those seats are the best, cozy and no tears and 36 years old with 350,000 miles on them. I'd love to find another and transplant them. More than ever before, they don't build cars like they used to.
Honestly tho, aside from aftermarket seats I'd like to know what seats fit the cj yj brackets and then bolt them in for ease of fab. Back when I had the frankenYJ with 92 mustang seats I had to make adapters for the seats to fit the YJ brackets, which made the seats sit higher and I'd like to avoid that mess.
Real info would be awesome, thank you.

I can dig that hoobness, another factor/issue with these heavily contoured seats is having support for rain covers from the aftermarket for climates like here in the Great PacNW. Tried some stretchy wetsuit material covers but the contours of the seat eventually wore through.
