My latest project has (due to previous owner) a mutilated separator plate between the motor and trans.
It is vibrating due to someone Cutting it literally in half for God knows what and the torque converter bolt heads have hit this bent up mess.
Can it be eliminated completely exposing the torque converter(not too smart) or does anyone know where I may find another and if removed does it pose any other concerns as to starter bendix engagement????
It is an 87 4.2 Wrangler/automatic
