OK so I finished my body lift finally today and started on the MML...I got the MORE 1" bombproof ones....Now I have a 95 2.5L and got the driverside on no problem...then I start to look at the passenger side...Now I see 2 problems....1..its much harder to get to than the drivers side...and 2 how the heck do you get the through bolt out?????theres not even enough room to get a socket bit in on the head of the bolt b/c the alternator (I think) is right in front....I know some of yall have done this mod and I really need help, my jeep has been sitting since xmas eve, and with the body lift on it is really itchin to go for a spin, but I gotta get this last part done before......please help....oh and I have seen a couple of write ups and they all say the passanger side is simple compared to the drivers...so whats the deal??

Sounds like you need to raise the motor more or remove the alternator. Let us know how you like it once it's installed.

Why the motor mount lift? What else have you done/going to do that you needed the MM lift?

well i removed my starter (at least thats whhat it is i think) and got the mmls on but now it won't start......now I really need help on this one, going to try again tomarrow when there is more light and see what happens, but kinda worried, i really don't want to take it off again b/c the belt is so hard to get on...I thought there was some kinda release on these, but I can't find one on my jeep

the reason I got the MML is b/c the mount on my drivers side was broken and I figured for the same price might as well, who knows what else I might do

Won't start? Did you "reconnect the negative battery cable" that the instructions no doubt told you to do? If you removed your alternator (doubt you had to remove your starter) then make sure the wires are hooked up right and grounded well.

Do you have a spring lift, too? The motor mount lift is supposed to decrease the driveline angle after a suspension lift... not a body lift. Curious as to how this affects a stock suspension vehicle.

Did the motor have a ground strap to the motor mount that may be loose or left off?
I have never seen or used an MML. Why do you need that with only a 1" body lift and further more do you have to lift the transmission mount or loosen it?

ok well it turns out it was my alternator that i removed and not starter....but i removed it agian and checked and all is hooked up ok....might check about the ground thingy on the mm....although i don't remember seeing one....yes I have a 4" suspension and it did change my angle a little, all i had to do was loosen the 2 bolts that hold the transmision thingy to the skid plate and it slid up a little....just hope I can get it going tomarrow think i might try to push start it if all else fails, really don't wana take it to the neighborhood shell and have to pay
