Maxxis Buckshots

Well i searched the forum and saw a few references to these being good tires but nothing devoted to them. Just got my lift on and took it to get it aligned today and was checkin out the tires while i was there and these caught my eye. The employees there were super friendly and took me back into the employees only section and i got to see all the treads and sizes for a couple diff brands of mudders. The owner told me i can buy a set of 4 or 5 and either way he'll only charge my 150 per tire for the buckshots and that includes mounting and balancing and a lifetime balancing and rotating warranty. Good deal? Just thought i'd check with ya'll on a set of 33x12.5's for my yj.

They're not terrible tires, not my first choice, but definately a good deal.

I know a guy who runs them and he is the quarry supervisor in a limestone quarry. Talk about muddy and rocky conditions. He loves them, the only time he complains is on highway where they sing a bit.

all the guys around here run them on the gaswell work trucks havent talked to them about the tires but i've always heard good stuff but they do hummm when they are on the pavement nothing i couldnt live with my firestone RMT's was alot worse ... i've considered them as my next purchase too if you do that way let us all know how they do

Never ran 'em, but they look like a solid buy. 33x12.50's will be kinda tight on 2.5" of lift...

It's a 4.5 inch lift and i think once i get the money these are the tires for me. So far i haven't read one bad thing about them and gettin to see them in person before i buy them helped. Now i gotta head back to work to go get the money for em.
